How often should a newborn poop?
"Pooping habits vary a lot from baby to baby.
In general, newborns poop frequently and irregularly during the first 10 weeks", explains Annica Källström.
"Some babies poop several times a day, others just once or twice, and some may only poop every 14 days or less.
What matters most is how your baby seems overall—if your baby is alert and happy, then things are likely fine. By around 2 months of age, most babies settle into a poop routine, often pooping at the same time each day—and they typically stop pooping at night."
